Depending on whom you ask, our inception stemmed from two different locations. My daughter would say, “The kitchen grew too small for all the tea. The cupboards were exploding!” Although this statement is true, my passion for this age-old beverage was born while visiting the country of Ireland. During a multi-week long trip, I grew accustomed to the “brown stuff” in the morning and the “brown stuff” in the evening. It was tea in the morning followed by a Guinness at night. I looked forward to the mornings in Ireland where I could wake up and drink a cup of “Breakfast Tea.” This is where I became interested in tea, and brought this new found excitement home to Milwaukee. It was soon after I returned home that the kitchen became too small, the cupboards were filled with a variety of tea from around the world and we decided to open Brew City Tea House.Our mission at Brew City Tea is to further educate ourselves in the world of tea by sharing our tea information and knowledge with you the customer. We enjoy chatting with our customers about tea. The more we explore, the more we learn about customs and personal experiences, the more our passion grows.
